01

Evaluation

Surface and Existing-Coating Review

Paver material, porosity, prior coatings, staining and joint condition all affect preparation and product choice. We evaluate those factors before recommending a process or quoting the project.

  • Concrete and clay pavers
  • Existing-sealer evaluation
  • Small-area testing when appropriate
  • Select tile and travertine review
02

Preparation

Cleaning Before Sealing

A sealer can only perform as well as the prepared surface beneath it. Cleaning, drying time, stain treatment and any necessary coating removal are addressed before the sealing scope is confirmed.

  • Surface cleaning and rinsing
  • Oil, rust and deposit assessment
  • Coating-removal review
  • Drying and weather planning
03

Joints

Joint-Sand Evaluation

Cleaning can disturb loose or deteriorated joint sand. We determine whether sand replacement or stabilization belongs in the proposal instead of treating it as an unexpected add-on after work begins.

  • Joint-depth and condition review
  • Sand replacement when quoted
  • Stabilization matched to the system
  • Clear scope before scheduling
04

Finish

Natural or Enhanced Appearance

The goal may be subtle protection or a richer, enhanced look. Finish expectations, slip considerations and compatibility are discussed before the product is selected.

  • Natural-look options
  • Enhanced-color options
  • Compatibility review
  • Maintenance guidance

Custom sealing proposals

Preparation determines the price.

Sealing is quoted after evaluating square footage, surface type, existing coating, joint sand, stain treatment and desired finish. That protects the quality of the finished job and prevents misleading teaser pricing.

Paver sealing questions

Before the sealer goes down.

Does every paver project need new joint sand?

No. It depends on joint depth, condition and how much material is disturbed during cleaning. Sand replacement is included only when the evaluation shows it is appropriate and the proposal lists it.

Can previously sealed pavers be resealed?

Sometimes, but compatibility and coating condition matter. Peeling, whitening or unknown prior products may require testing or removal before a new sealer can be recommended.

Can you seal travertine or tile?

Select tile, travertine and specialty surfaces may be suitable after evaluation and product testing. We do not assume one paver sealer is appropriate for every material.

How soon can the surface be used?

Cure time depends on the product, weather, surface and type of traffic. The project plan will include the required keep-off period before work is scheduled.
